Janett Cardiel, Esq. is the CEO and Founder of The Cardiel Law Firm, APC, a proudly Latina-owned law firm dedicated to serving and empowering diverse communities. Licensed in California (Bar #289760) and practicing since 2013, Janett is bilingual in Spanish and English and brings both professional excellence and personal understanding to every case she handles.

Originally from Mexico City, Janett is an immigrant who understands firsthand the journey, challenges, and resilience of the migrant American experience. This lived perspective fuels her passion for immigration law and strengthens her commitment to advocating for individuals and families navigating complex legal systems.

Janett earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and attended Southwestern Law School. Prior to being admitted to the California State Bar in 2013, she worked with a nonprofit organization in the San Fernando Valley, where she built a strong foundation in advocacy, service, and community engagement.

Since her admission, Janett has focused her practice on immigration law and criminal defense. She has represented clients before USCIS, the AAO, EOIR, and the BIA, and has guided hundreds of clients through the consular processing of immigrant visas worldwide. Immigration is not just her area of practice—it is her purpose. She is deeply committed to providing strategic, compassionate, and results-driven representation to every client she serves.

Janett’s impact extends beyond the courtroom. She is actively engaged in communities across California’s Central Coast, Los Angeles County, and San Bernardino County, as well as in Texas, Arizona, Illinois, and Florida. Through outreach, education, and advocacy, she works to expand access to legal resources and empower immigrant communities with the knowledge and support they need to succeed.
